她在2012年5月一場UC-Ivrine演講中的簡介: 當時她是博士候選人，Shanshan Xu has multi levels of advanced degree including M.D. from Peking University, M.S in Biomedical Engineering. She is currently a Ph.D candidate in UC-Irvine doing breast cancer translational research. She has assumed responsibilities as President of Advanced Degree Consulting Club which serves advanced degree candidates interested in a career orientation in management consulting. She will be introducing case study in the interview process with top tier consulting companies like McKinsey, BCG and Bain. 

根據這份資料，徐珊珊目前住在紐約，她先在北京大學取得醫學士，然後到美國攻讀生物醫學工程學位，推測應該是2008年左右到美國加州大學爾灣分區攻讀生物醫學工程博士學位，2012年取得候選人資格，並在當年當選校內高階學位顧問社團(ADCC)的主席。這是一個由中國人組成的社團，成立的重點是協助中國學生取得學位，學習管理知識，順利在美國找到工作。

這樣的人跟中國政府有關連性嗎?一個剛到美國三、四年的博士生，怎麼會這麼活躍呢?當地中國學生組織算很大，上千人。徐姍姍的ADCC社團與中國學生社團互為夥伴關係。她也極具事業企圖心，活躍於管理顧問公司工作訪談準備工作。

徐姍姍(Shanshan Xu)的英文履歷表: 2001-2020

查了又查，在一家位於波士頓的Vivo投資公司找到徐珊珊的履歷，她北大醫學系2001年入學，2006年畢業，照理說這是一個八年制的學校，可是她的履歷寫5年而已，所以她應該是1982-83年次左右的女生(今年38歲左右)。2006年到香港中文大學待了4個月臨床實習，中間一年多人在北京大學停留，應該有進入醫院實習，她自稱對乳癌臨床醫學有興趣。

隔年2008年到美國加州大學爾灣分校生物醫學工程碩士班，兩年後取得碩士學位，在兩年取得博士學位。之後先到Johnson & Johnson藥廠待了一年半的時間，同時期她也與北京大學南加州校友會有所接觸，2014年搬到波士頓MIT史隆學院念MBA，同時期也在Covidien公司上班，隔年2015年改到Vivo投資公司上班，2016年取得MBA學位，之後轉往紐約市發展至今。

這是徐姍姍在MIT念書的時候公開的講話，時間是2015年11月，她在講話中提到曾經當過時尚設計公司的模特兒，周遊過幾個國家。聽起來她的英文表達能力算普通，是否能夠融入美國主流社會，或者隱身其中，還有待觀察，除非她背後有不為人知的政商二代背景，那又是另外一回事了。
